Q.1 How much time is required to prepare the Punjabi Literature optional subject ?
Ans. It requires self-study for 3 hours a day for 2 months under proper guidance.

Q.2 What is the course classes’ duration ?
Ans. Course classes’ duration is 120-130 hours, in other words it is two and half months.

Q.3 Do I have to read any other books along with your class notes ?
Ans. We prepare our class notes from number of research papers and authentic books. We update our study material time to time. So we suggest to follow only class material of around 300 pages and dictation given in classes, sincerely.

Q.4 Do you cover whole syllabus in class ?
Ans. Yes, we cover 100% syllabus in detail in our class.

Q.5 Should one must have a very good hold on Punjabi language ?
Ans. One must be able to speak, read, understand and write the basic level of Punjabi language. Moreover the syllabus of Punjabi Literature optional is designed in such a way that we start our classes from very basics.

Q.6 I read Punjabi during my school curriculum only, can I perform well with Punjabi Literature optional ?
Ans. As per the education pattern of Punjab State, most of the students study Punjabi language till the Secondary or Higher Secondary level only.

Moreover during schooling students study Punjabi language, not the Punjabi Literature. So Punjabi Literature optional is the level playing field for all the aspirants.

Q.7 Do I have to get some knowledge of Literature before joining classes ?
Ans. No need to go through any material of Literature before joining classes.

Q.8 I can write Punjabi, however spelling mistakes are common, can this problem be resolved in classes ?
Ans. During classes and during Answer Writing Sessions we provide personal attention to our students to improve the spellings of Punjabi Vocabulary.

Q.9 This is generally said that Punjabi Literature fetches very average score.
Ans. This is the myth and this myth becomes reality when students take this subject very much lightly, follow sub-standard material and do not attempt answer writing under proper guidance.

Q.10 Is it true that questions are repeated in Punjabi Literature Papers ?
Ans. Yes, this subject has very limited syllabus so one or two questions can be found repeated, with little changes.

Q.11 Do I have to read all the books of the novelists and dramatists, mentioned in the syllabus ?
Ans. No need to read their books.

Q.12 Do I have to memorise the Bani of Sheikh Farid and Guru Nanak Dev Ji, mentioned in the syllabus ?
Ans. UPSC exam does not demand any cramming. You have to develop rational understanding of the Bani, not to memorise the same.

Q.13 Do you conduct Test Series ?
Ans.Yes, after the completion of syllabus in class, we conduct Answer writing Sessions. We conduct:-

  • Topic wise tests
  • Section wise tests
  • Full paper tests

Test Series is included in our course. Our students do not require to pay any extra fee for test series. We offer to our students unlimited tests for writing.

Q.14 If I miss some classes, is there any alternative to cover that syllabus?
Ans. Yes, you can attend the classes in next batch. Our students can repeat full batch even, at any place (Chandigarh or Delhi). No fee is charged for this. Our students can repeat batches n times.

Q.15 Do I have to follow any Punjabi News Paper for Punjabi Literature preparation ?
Ans. No need to read any Punjabi News paper for this subject.
